The 8th mag. globular cluster M12 in Ophiucus.

In terms of appearance, size and distance, M12 is very similar to M10, located just a few degrees away in the same constellation. Note: This image taken by John Sanford at OCA Anza Observatory, with C-14 using Starlight Xpress CCD camera.
