9th-mag. emission/reflection nebula M20 (NGC 6514), the Trifid Nebula, in Sagittarius.

One of several experimental tri-color images taken on September 3/4, 1994. A set of dichroic filters (RGB) was used to take three successive images. The images were then registered and added together using Epoch 2000. Exposure length and exact time of image are unknown.
