From Private Space Telescopes to Asteroid Mining and Manufacturing

SpaceFab.US is building a privately funded open access reflector telescope satellite that anyone can use to photograph the Earth or to photograph stars and galaxies. We will leverage that satellite technology to build asteroid mining and manufacturing satellites. We'll describe our space telescope design, as well as our business and technical plans for metal asteroid mining and exponential space manufacturing.

Randy Chung

Randy Chung is the CEO and a co-founder of SpaceFab.US. He has worked on satellites and radar processing circuits at Hughes Aircraft, developed the world's first hard disk controller chip at Western Digital, worked on CMOS imagers and image processing at Rockwell Semiconductor / Conexant, and was founder and CTO for a video streaming systems and software company.

Sean League

Sean League is a co-founder of SpaceFab.US and is the director of spacecraft development. He has always been interested in astronomy. He has a degree in astrophysics from Appalachian State University, owned US Telescopes Inc, worked for Daystar Filters, Vixen Optics and OPT. He has worked on antimissile lasers, taught physics in China and astrophysics at several universities, and is a science fiction and historical fiction author.
