If you are a current subscriber to Astronomy and/or Sky & Telescope magazine or even if you do not yet subscribe this is a member benefit that you simply must take advantage of. By subscribing to these magazines via the club you will save around $10 per subscription. Just think of it as cutting the cost of your membership to the OCA by up to $20 per year (if you subscribe to both magazines).

These magazines allow us to subscribe members as one group each year - and they extend the special rate to all our members at that time only. The club makes no money whatsoever for doing this - we simply want to pass on this great price as a service to our members. Our Treasurer and Membership secretary Charlie Oostdyk deserves a great deal of praise from all the members for this quite fantastic service that he manages on behalf of the club.

What is the club rate?

Astronomy Magazine = $29 - (Regular rate is $39.95 - You save $10.95)

Sky & Telescope Magazine = $33 - (Regular rate is $42.95 - You save $9.95)

When does the club submit subscriptions at the club rate?

We submit the subscriptions to the magazines in October. These subscriptions will take effect from the December edition. The October meeting is the last chance to submit your details and check to Charlie.

I already subscribe to these magazines and my subscription does not end in December - how can I take advantage of this offer?

No problem. We can extend your subscription for a further year at the club rates.

How do we pay?

Pay by check (or cash) made out to Orange County Astronomers. If you are a current subscriber it will help immensely if you can include the address labels from your magazine. You can either bring this to an OCA Meeting and personally give them to Charlie or you can send them to the following address;
