The OCA Observing Site, commonly refered to
simply as "Anza" (after the nearby town of Anza),
is located several miles off State Highway 371 down a washboard
dirt road. Palomar Mountain can be seen some twelve miles to
the southwest. The town of Anza is about seven miles to the
north. The site covers twenty acres, of which about twelve acres
have been developed for observing. A fifteen year note on the
property was paid off in 1996.

This "reverse angle" view of the OCA site was taken
from a rock outcropping on the southeastern part of the property.
It looks back to the west. The site entrance is on the opposite
side of the property so this view is reversed from the way people
see the site.
Versions of the Site Panorama
Here are three versions of the panorama. These images are available
to club members for use on their own personal web sites.
